Police on Manhunt for Two Gunmen for the Fatal Shooting of Two Off-duty Policemen at Block Factory

On Thursday, May 2, 2024, at approximately 6:00pm, two off-duty police officers were fatally shot in front of their private residence at Block Factory, East Trasacco, Accra. The gunmen, who did not take anything from the victims, fled the scene on a motorbike.

Victim Information
The victims have been identified as:

• Constable Emmanuel Osei, age 32
• Sergeant Michael Asante, age 35

Both officers were members of the Ghana Police Service and were highly respected in their community.
