An unimaginable and massive number of wannabe musicians and dancers from the various communities in Wassa Amenfi West Municipality showed up at The Rising Stars Talent Show which started on Friday, 23 June 2023 and ended on Saturday, 24th June 2023. It was held at Asankrangwa Melody Hotel Conference Hall.
The event saw an unimaginable number of beautiful young girls and handsome boys who showed up to fight fiercely for the limited slot and enviable space.
In a remarkable display of talent and enthusiasm, the Rising Stars audition has revealed that indeed, talents are riped in Asankranman.
The judges and organizers were impressed by the immense potential of the participants. The judges awarded marks based on stage performance -acting, confidence, looks, flow, coordination, etc.
The event, organized by Best Tape Entertainment, aims to discover and promote young talents in the Asankranman area.
With nearly 60 aspiring contestants vying for a chance to showcase their skills, the auditions were a resounding success. After a rigorous selection process, 28 individuals, both solo performers and groups, emerged victorious, securing their spots in the upcoming main event.
The panel of esteemed judges expressed their delight at the abundance of talent witnessed during the auditions. They commended Best Tape Entertainment for their efforts in providing a platform to showcase the rich pool of abilities present in the Asankranman community. The judges were impressed by the diverse range of performances and expressed their anticipation for the main event.
Ebenezer Ansah-Boafo, popularly known as Pizzy Pizzaro, the Entertainment Manager of Best Tape Entertainment, expressed his satisfaction with the massive turnout for this maiden edition of The Rising Stars. He remarked on the outstanding talent displayed by the participants and their dedication to their craft.
CEO Patrick Adjei, fondly referred to as Patito, expressed his gratitude to the heads of schools, parents, media partners, and sponsors for their valuable contributions to the success of the auditions. He emphasized the importance of support from sponsors and encouraged more organizations to come on board to uplift and empower the young talents in the Asankranman area.
The much-anticipated main event of The Rising Stars will kick off on July 22nd at the prestigious Royal FM Conference Hall. Spanning 12 weeks, the program promises to captivate audiences with its exceptional performances and showcase the immense talent that Asankranman has to offer.
As the countdown begins, anticipation builds for a thrilling and unforgettable experience as the aspiring stars take to the stage to showcase their abilities.
