Ebenezer Ansah Boafo, a digital creator and promoter has shared his personal life experience about living an intentional life.
According to Ebenezer, In 2015, after a long and deep dive into religion and life, he decided to start living an intentional life. He wanted to live with purpose, aligning his actions with his values, beliefs, and goals. He wanted to be present and mindful in every moment, rather than just going through the motions. And most importantly, he wanted to find peace within himself.
Living an intentional life requires self-reflection and self-awareness. Ebenezer says he had to understand what was important to him and what he wanted to achieve in life. He identified his core values, such as honesty, kindness, and compassion, and made a conscious effort to align his actions with these values. He set meaningful goals and worked towards them with purpose and intention.
One of the most significant benefits of living an intentional life is the sense of inner peace it brings. Before, he was often driven by external factors such as societal expectations, peer pressure, or the desire for material possessions. But now, he is guided by his inner compass, which helps him make decisions that bring him closer to his true self.
Living an intentional life also allows one to reframe their failures and setbacks. Rather than seeing them as dire mistakes or moments of regret, one sees them as opportunities for growth and learning. This perspective helps one to stay resilient and motivated, even in the face of adversity.
Of course, living an intentional life is not always easy. It requires discipline, dedication, and a willingness to step out of my comfort zone. But the rewards are significant. When one lives intentionally, one experiences a deeper sense of fulfilment meaning, and purpose. Ebenezer says he is more resilient, adaptable, and creative. He is better able to navigate the challenges of life, and he can truly say that he is living his best life.
Ultimately, living an intentional life is a powerful way for one to find peace within oneself. By aligning one’s actions with their values and goals, they have transformed their outlook on life and experienced a sense of fulfilment that comes from living a life that is true to themselves. If you’re feeling lost or stuck, be encouraged to start living intentionally. It’s never too late to start living a life of purpose and meaning.
