Ghanaian actor and comedian, Kwadwo Nkansah, popularly known as Lilwin, has recently acquired 14 plots of land in Kwamang-Boaman and built the Weezy Empire Film Village. This move is seen as a significant milestone in the Ghanaian film industry as it provides a sustainable platform for movie production.

The Weezy Empire Film Village is a state-of-the-art facility, which will house all the necessary infrastructure for movie production, such as a fully equipped studio, dressing rooms, makeup rooms, chief Palace, administration offices, and much more. With this facility, Lilwin aims to create a more conducive environment for movie production, which will raise the bar in terms of quality and quantity.

The actor, who was speaking during Zionfelix tour at the village expressed his excitement about the prospect of the Weezy Empire Film Village. Lilwin stated that he was motivated to build the facility to create job opportunities for the youth and to contribute his quota to the movie industry’s growth.

The Weezy Empire Film Village is expected to attract local and international filmmakers to Kwamang-Boaman. The facility will cater to the needs of all filmmakers, both big and small, and aims to create mutually beneficial partnerships that will move the movie industry forward.

Lilwin has already started the first movie project at the Weezy Empire Film Village, which is expected to feature top Ghanaian actors and actresses. The first movie project titled “Philadelphia” will be shot in Kwamang-Boaman and highlights a town where its people were into wicked practices. Lilwin is set to be the chief and will engage in a lot of inhumane behaviour. Lilwin believes that the movie’s theme aligns with his vision for the Weezy Empire Film Village, which is to create a sustainable platform for movie production that contributes to the development of local communities. Lilwin stated that going forward, he will bring two prominent Nigerian actors on board.

In conclusion, Lilwin’s acquisition of 14 plots of land and construction of the Weezy Empire Film Village is a game-changer for the Ghanaian movie industry. The facility will not only provide sustainable infrastructure for movie production but will also create job opportunities for the youth and contribute to the development of local communities. The Weezy Empire Film Village is a welcome development, and we look forward to seeing the impact it will have on the Ghanaian movie industry.
