Hon Afrifa said he has explored a lot of tourism opportunities in the area, which he believes should be transformed into the development of the area.

He said Amenfi West boasts a wealth of natural and cultural assets that make it an ideal tourism destination. “Mountainous terrains such as Affiena can be developed for paragliding, hiking, and other adventure activities,” he added. Hon. Afrifa also emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting Amenfi West’s cultural heritage. He believes that festivals, traditional dances, and other cultural practices can be leveraged to attract tourists and showcase the area unique identity.

To unlock Amenfi West’s tourism potential, Hon Afrifa highlighted strategic investments in improving access roads, building accommodation facilities, and developing tourist attractions. He added that these can be achieved through promotion, marketing, and targeted campaigns to get the attention.
