A comprehensive victory for Manchester Manchester United against Chelsea has secured a champions league spot for the reds next season. The aim before the start of the season was to bring the team back to its victory days and qualify them for the champions league.

Erick Ten Hag has shown that he can achieve greater things for Manchester United after a 4:1 win against Chelsea.

Erick Ten Hag on qualifying for UCL:

“It’s important. This club belongs in the Champions League. But it is not easy in the Premier League, it’s tough. A lot compete for those positions – seven or eight teams. It’s a massive performance when you get this done”.

“We are back in the Champions League. That is an important step. If you want to be successful you have to be in that competition”.

“We want to win. We showed a winning attitude. You can see Chelsea has outstanding players. Counter-attacks were really good, really dangerous. We should have scored more”.

Ten Hag on the focus for the next game:

“Still we can be third in the league. It’s important to keep focus,Mufc’setting injuries as well. But also get a home record. It’s going to be an important game, we want to win that game”.

“It’s important to stay in the rhythm on Sunday. We can be third, so we want to keep the focus with no injuries”.

Erick Ten Hag on mufc’s progress:

“I remember after the second game, Brentford, it was tough. But we work good on the training pitch and we’re improving. We’re in the right direction but we know we are still not there”.

Erick Ten Hag on Antony and Luke Shaw’s injuries:

“It’s difficult to say. Wait for 24 hours and we’ll know more”.
