As the saying goes, “When the last tree dies, certainly, the last man shall also die.” This indicates that it is very prudent for mankind to take care of the gift (vegetation) God has given us. With all the considerable importance of trees to mankind and other living creatures, the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources, under the championship of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, in 2021, introduced The Green Ghana Initiative, as part of the aggressive national afforestation/reforestation program to restore the lost forest cover of Ghana and to contribute to the global effort to mitigate climate change.

Today, 9th June 2023, as observed nationwide in planting of tree seedlings, some reps from Samartex Timber and Plywood Company Limited, forestry department collaborated with Modish Royal Montessori School and planted tree seedlings in a way of paying their quota to the vision of the government.
It was a good moment for the learners as they one way or the other contributed to the sustainability of our community.

Let’s protect our vegetation.

OUR FORESTS, OUR LIFE!                              OUR FORESTS, OUR HEALTH!
