Asankrangwa Mourns Rising Star

The vibrant music community of Asankrangwa is in mourning following the untimely passing of up-and-coming artist Kwame Darmani on 14th May 2024. The tragic news was shared by Ebenezer Ansah-Boafo, manager of Best Tape Entertainment and also an artist manager.

In a heartfelt tribute on Facebook, Pizzaro wrote: “Our bond was profound. Thank you for all the beautiful moments we shared—the trust, loyalty, the highs, and the lows. May the portals open for you to enter the next dimension of life. To others, you’re gone, but to me, you’ve just journeyed to the other side. Words can’t express it all, but our work remains in the studio.”

Darmani, a rising star in the underground music scene, had released his single “Never Give Up” in December 2023, igniting great expectations among his growing fan base. His sudden departure has left a void in the community and the music industry at large.

It is reported he passed away after battling an ailment at the Asankrangwa Catholoc hospital.

As the proverb goes, “Life is a fleeting shadow,” reminding us of the fragility of existence and the importance of cherishing every moment. The Asankrangwa community and Darmani’s loved ones are now left to grapple with the loss of a talented young artist whose music had the power to inspire and connect.

His legacy will live on through his music and the memories he created with those who knew him. Rest in peace, Kwame Darmani.
