Dormaa West: Baby found dead and wrapped in black polythene near children’s ward

A tragic incident occurred at Nkrankwanta District Hospital of Dormaa West in the Bono Region, where a newborn baby girl was found deceased.

The baby, wrapped in a black polythene bag, was discovered in an uncompleted building within the hospital premises. The hospital’s management promptly reported the incident to the police and social welfare authorities.

The hospital, together with social welfare, the police, and the local Assemblyman, are collaborating to investigate this distressing matter.
