The main event of this yearโs maiden edition of the Rising Stars which is intended to unlock potential and harness talents in Wassa Amenfi West (Asankranman) commenced yesterday, 22 July 2023 at Melody Hotel-Nana Tandoh Conference Hall. The event started with some fire as contestants wowed the audience with great performances.
Although all the contestants did well with their performances, some stood out with exceptional performances. Two persons were awarded in two categories- star performer and best costume.
Blessing Essumang won Best Costume for the evening. Blessing Essumang won Best Costume with a beautiful rendition of Samuel Owusu’s “Abusua Kyiri Ka” song to tell us how sometimes one’s family and friends reject them when they need their support, but when one makes it, everyone wants to celebrate them.
