In a heartwarming display of kindness and dedication, the Wassa Amenfi West Old Students’ Association (WAWOSA) marked Valentine’s Day with a thoughtful donation and educational program on menstrual hygiene for the Asankrangwa Senior High School Cadet Girls.
On Friday, February 14th, 2024, WAWOSA, a vibrant youth association based in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region of Ghana, visited the Asankrangwa Senior High School to share love, care, and essential knowledge with the Cadet Girls.
Miss Epiphany, representing WAWOSA, made the presentation to the ASANCO CADET GIRLS, donating valuable items and sharing vital information on menstrual hygiene. This thoughtful gesture aimed to empower the young girls with the knowledge and resources needed to maintain good menstrual health, promoting confidence, dignity, and overall well-being.
The cadet master, Mr. Godbless, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to WAWOSA for their kindness and generosity. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the association’s efforts to extend their services to other areas and communities, ensuring that more young people benefit from their initiatives.
WAWOSA’s Valentine’s Day initiative demonstrates the organization’s commitment to supporting the growth and development of young people, particularly girls, in the Amenfi West Municipality. By providing essential education and resources, WAWOSA is helping to break down barriers and empower the next generation of leaders.
As WAWOSA continues to spread love, kindness, and empowerment, their efforts serve as a shining example of the positive impact that community-based organizations can have on the lives of young people.
