The incident involving Emmanuel Kyei, also known as Wascot, is indeed a tragic one. It is unfortunate that he was allegedly involved in thievery and was beaten to death as a result. The incident took place on 7th January 2024 in Asankrangwa, when Emmanuel was captured entering a gold buying room along with another individual.
After entering the gold room, they searched for gold particles, possibly hoping to find something valuable. However, their actions were captured on camera, and one of them was apprehended and beaten by the gold buyers. Thankfully, police intervention prevented the first suspect from losing his life. However, the gold buyers, fueled by anger and frustration, decided to take matters into their own hands and captured the second suspect, Emmanuel, beating him to death.
In response to this incident, the police have arrested one individual who appeared in the video for further interrogations. This is an ongoing investigation, and more details will likely emerge as the case progresses.
