Tragic Incident: Young Girl Allegedly Raped and Killed in Ashanti Region

 

In a deeply unfortunate event, an 18-year-old girl named Abena Georgina was reportedly raped and murdered by unknown assailants in Anwiankwata, located in the Ashanti Region. Her lifeless body was discovered in an uncompleted building near her residence.

Eyewitnesses at the scene recounted that the girl’s face was covered in blood and she had been partially unclothed. Speaking exclusively to OTEC News, Hon Frank Awuah, the Assembly Member for the area, shared that they suspect the incident occurred on Saturday, September 16, 2023. Disturbing videos and photos collected from the scene suggest that the perpetrators subjected the poor girl to rape before ending her life.

Sadly, her body was found in a state of undress, leading some residents to believe that she may have been assaulted elsewhere before being brought to the uncompleted building near her home.
