Three individuals apprehended by the police for the theft of medicine boxes at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital

The Police have arrested Raymond Asoke, Noeyelle Bridget, and Raheem Fasilat for the theft of medicine boxes at the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital. Asoke, a driver at the hospital, was apprehended on August 4th, 2023 while observed loading the medicine boxes from an unmarked house into a car. The car was searched, and 12 boxes of medicine were found. The house was also searched, resulting in the discovery and recovery of 22 additional boxes of medicine.

Subsequent investigation led to the arrest of Bridget, an Assistant Dispensary Officer at the hospital’s pharmacy, and Fasilat, the Regional storekeeper, who admitted to providing the medicine boxes to the driver. All three suspects are currently in custody and will face legal proceedings. The investigation is still ongoing to identify and apprehend any other accomplices and determine the purpose of the stolen medicine.
