Prempeh College, a prestigious all-boys boarding school in Ghana, has won the Unknown Mission Challenge at the 2024 World Robotics Olympiad (WRO). The team was awarded a $80,000 scholarship to continue their education at a university in the United States.

The World Robotics Olympiad is an international robotics competition for students aged 6 to 19. The competition is designed to promote STEM education and to inspire students to pursue careers in science and technology.

The Unknown Mission Challenge is one of the most challenging events at the WRO. Teams are given a set of materials and a set of instructions, and they must design and build a robot that can complete a specific task.
