Honourable Lord Nana Tandoh, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Wassa Amenfi West, has officially commissioned a project for Domeabra M/A Primary School. The project includes a newly built six-unit classroom block and an astroturf park. This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of COCOBOD, Walter Matter Fedco, and various stakeholders.
The magnificent event captivated everyone who attended, leaving them in awe. As part of their corporate social responsibility, COCOBOD Walter Matter Fedco pledged to provide Domeabra with a remarkable six-unit classroom block and an astroturf for Domeabra M/A Primary School.
The Honorable Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Lord Nana Tandoh, took a keen interest in the project, ensuring its completion within the agreed-upon timeframe. On September 7th, 2023, a circular was sent to the MCE, notifying them of the project’s completion and subsequent commissioning.
The official commissioning of the project took place on September 8th, 2023. Representatives from COCOBOD Walter Matter Fedco were present to hand over the school and astroturf park to the MCE, who then transferred responsibility to the Municipal Education Director, the Chief, the Headmaster, and the Domeabra community.
The project included a fully furnished six-unit classroom block with furniture and fans, an ICT laboratory equipped with modern computers, and a lavatory. Additionally, the school received an astroturf, making it the first in the municipality to have one.
The MCE speaking at the event said “We hope and pray that the New Patriotic Party continues to hold power to witness more of these transformative projects in our municipality”.
