One dead, one injured in a ghastly motor accident at Samreboi (audio+pictures)

A motor accident which occurred this morning has led to the death of MR Sawudu Ibrahim( Technical Assistant- COCOBOD) stationed at Samreboi in the Wassa Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region. The sad event occurred early this morning, 18th of April 2023 when they were on a motorbike to the field.

Deceased

The motorbike rider was on the main road whilst the tricycle (aboboyaa) rider was coming from the Mumuni road to Samreboi main road when the motorbike rider hit the back of the aboboyaa  at Amoaku junction.  According to sources, the motorbike rider was dodging potholes and unfortunately hit the back of the Aboboyaa at the Amoaku junction, resulting in the death of the Technical Assistant.

One Field Assistant, MR Quawson who was on the motor bicycle with the late Ibrahim is in critical condition at the samartex hospital receiving treatment.

 

FA in critical condition

The deceased has been buried as a result of his religious affiliation belief whilst The Field Assistant (FA) is still battling for his life.

 

The COCOBOD management at Samreboi responded to the situation with alacrity and extended their condolences to the bereaved family and also wished the FA receiving treatment a speedy recovery.
