Kidnapped Victims in Viral Video Rescued; Eight Suspects Arrested in Joint Ghana-Nigeria Operation

 

Following a collaborative effort between the Ghana Police Service, the National Signals Bureau (NSB), and the Nigeria Police Force, the two female victims featured in a widely circulated kidnapping video have been successfully rescued.

In connection with this crime, a total of eight (8) suspects have been apprehended from their hideouts located in both Ghana and Nigeria. This coordinated operation highlights the effectiveness of cross-border cooperation in combating transnational criminal activities.

The Ghana Police Service has indicated that further details regarding the rescue operation and the ongoing investigation will be released to the public in due course.
