“The Rising Stars” Launch Was a Success: Unveiling Extraordinary Talent in Amenfi West
The launch event of “The Rising Stars,” a highly anticipated music and dance competition, took place yesterday, 15 July 2023 at the prestigious Nana Tandoh Conference Hall, Melody Hotel. The event was a resounding success, featuring remarkable performances and the presence of esteemed guests, including the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Honorable Lord Nana Tandoh.
Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh expressed his full confidence in the organizers, Best Tape Entertainment, as he had witnessed their remarkable management of Miss Phyllis during the Miss Western 2022 pageant, where she achieved the second runner-up position. He commended the organizers for their dedication to promoting local talent and urged them to consider making the judgement criteria 70% from the judges’ scores and 30% from public votes.
Highlighting the significance of “The Rising Stars” competition, Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh stated that it is the first of its kind in the municipal and the entire Western region. He emphasized the importance of providing a platform for emerging talents to showcase their skills and expressed his commitment to supporting the growth and development of local artists.
As a demonstration of his support, Hon. Lord Nana Tandoh pledged to provide each of the 28 contestants with GHC 100 worth of votes and also committed to contributing GHC 1,000 to the organizers. This generous contribution will undoubtedly empower the contestants and further enhance the success of “The Rising Stars.”
The launch event witnessed an electrifying atmosphere as the talented participants showcased their exceptional abilities in music and dance. The audience was captivated by their performances, leaving no doubt about the immense talent that resides within Amenfi West.
