The victim, who had just left a church service and was on route to his village, Nsuogya, which is in close proximity to Asankran Affiena, fell victim to a violent assault.

Following the brutal attack, the victim was promptly transported to the Asankrangwa Catholic Hospital for urgent medical attention. As of the latest update, Simon remains under medical care, receiving treatment for the wounds sustained during the assault.
