Amenfi West: Armed Robbers Burnt to Death at Moseaso after Ambushing Gold Miners

Information reaching Pazionmedia indicates luck eluded three armed robbers after attacking miners with “gold (black) at Asankran Moseaso in the Amenfi West Municipality of the Western Region.

The incident happened today’s morning, 16th April 2023.

The gold miners as usual were carrying gold to Asankrangwa for refinery when they were attacked on their way from Moseaso to Asankrangwa.

The robbers started shooting sporadically hitting the security man who is a native of Asankran Moseaso to death. This shocked the people of Asankran Moseaso. They mustered the courage to enter the bushes to search for the perpetrators of this heinous crime. After a few minutes of searching in the forest and nearby areas, they caught the criminals and after beating them, set them (the armed robbers) ablaze.

In the meantime, the corpse of the security man has been deposited in Asankrangwa Catholic Hospital whilst the police have arrived at the scene to calm down the situation and also carry out investigations.
