Ministry of Health Receives Medical Items from WHO

The Ministry of Health has received some medical items from the WHO Ghana and DHL Global Forwarding.

Dr. Francis Kasolo, the country representative of WHO Ghana with support from the German Government handed over 20 Oxygen concentrators and accessories, 2000 pieces of venturi masks for adults and paediatric, 2000 pieces of Nasal oxygen cannula with prongs for adults and paediatric, 400 fingertip Pulse Oximeter and 50 portable handheld Pulse Oximeter.

“We donated these medical items to strengthen the critical care of infectious diseases and other emergency services in the country,” he said.

While, the CEO of DHL West Africa and Country Head of Ghana, Mr. Serigne Ndanck Mbaye presented 192 cartons of Nitrile Gloves and Hand Sanitizers as part of their social responsibilities to support Healthcare in Ghana.
