Honourable Minister pledges to facilitate the provision of new educational facilities

The Director-General of GES, Dr Eric Nkansah joined the Honorable Minister for Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, the Eastern Regional Minister and Heads of other Agencies of the Ministry of Education to pay an unannounced visit to some schools in the Eastern Region on Monday 20th March 2023.

The schools visited were:
1. Methodist Girls Senior High School, Mamfe.
2. Mampong-Akuapim Senior High Technical School for the Deaf.
3. Demonstration School for the Deaf, Mampong-Akuapim.
4. Presbyterian Senior High School, Mampong-Akwapim.
5. Aburi Girls’ Senior High School.
6. Presbyterian Senior High Technical School, Aburi.
7. Presbyterian Junior High School, Aburi.

During the visit, the team observed classroom lessons and shared words of encouragement with the students.

They also inspected school facilities and the Honorable Minister pledged to facilitate the provision of some new facilities where necessary.

Their observations during the visit are a testament to the great work our teachers are doing in these schools.
