While 21 structures were completely destroyed, their swift actions managed to salvage six structures and the Liberty Revival Church, limiting the extent of the damage.

While the incident resulted in no fatalities, several residents sustained injuries from attacks by unidentified thugs who were present at the scene earlier. This incident underscores the need for increased security measures during fire outbreaks, particularly in densely populated areas.

The GNFS’s response showcased the professionalism and dedication of its personnel. The presence of senior officers, including DO II Samuel Fiifi Oppong, DO III Ebenezer Yenzu, and DO III Christian Aidoo, ensured effective operational support and coordination. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The GNFS’s swift response and the firefighters’ dedication to containing the blaze serve as a testament to their commitment to protecting lives and property.
